Modular Analog Synthesis 1996-2001

Additions in homemade rack box above the Serge panel include:

Wiard Dual Envolator on far left and Classic VCO on far right
Under construction in middle:  Quad Slope Generator with Analog Switch, Dual CV Mixer
and front panel with frequency and feedback conrols for PAiA percussion board.
In front of Serge panel:
Blank Wiard panel containing 16 pulse outputs
from Lucent ORCA FPGA containing pattern generator/sequencer written in VHDL.
Serge touch panel PCB in front interfaces to FPGA
with guitar string contact switches.

In addition to the Wiard modules, a PAiA Drum module kit has been built and the inputs and outputs of its oscillator, VCA etc brought out to banana jacks for an additional patchable synthesizer voice.

During the summer of 1996 a PAiA Theremax kit was built which has been played on electronic music compositions and in concert.
